Historic Kirchem Farm October 2021 Pumpkin Festival – Weekends 9-5! Acres of Heirloom Pumpkins on the Vine

Featured

Update Friday October 22, 2021: We will be open this weekend rain & shine! Hay wagon rides are still weather permitting. If you have your own carts feel free to bring them. Please NO PARKING LOT ENTRY AFTER 3:30!

Farming is a wonderful way to live however there are a few down sides. Sometimes it rains at all the right times, and sometimes at all the wrong times. We especially love living side-by-side with animals and wildlife . . . and then there is that moment when a herd of deer or neighbors goats play “stomp the crops” in your fields. Yes that and more can happen, so we have moved many of the larger pumpkins out of the fields to the Great Pumpkin Barn with the looming threat of a very wet weekend coming up.

This is a family operated farm and it takes time and a healthy dose of patience to see everything. We appreciate all of you and want you to have time to have fun. We are not at all like the large commercial operations so we encourage you to bring your own wagons, carts, clippers/knives. Come enjoy your surroundings and the other wonderful people who are also seeking a bit of rural adventure. We are on our feet all day long and rarely have time for a break or food so honoring the 3:30 lot closure is good for everyone. You are the best Pumpkin Hunters and we appreciate all of you! Thank you for making us part of your family tradition.

Thanksgiving X-Mas 2010 028

We are still where the Historic Kirchem Farm has been since the mid-1800’s. We still have stunning outdoor venues for weddings and reunions, and of course our NATURAL non-sprayed U-cut CHRISTMAS TREES Friday after Thanksgiving through Early December, and 35 varieties of heirloom PUMPKINS on the vines for October weekends.
